We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented individual to take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of the Centurion IT system.

This role plays a key part within the Professional Standards function, supporting the identification, research, and processing of information relating to complaints, misconduct, and conduct matters. The postholder will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and behaviour across the organisation through robust data management, analysis, and reporting.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Educated to A-Level (Level 3) or equivalent, or demonstrable experience within a systems, data, or research-focused environment.
• Strong IT skills with the ability to understand and utilise system capabilities for research and reporting.
• Experience of data analysis tools such as SQL and reporting platforms (e.g., SAP Crystal Reports) is desirable.
• Working knowledge of:
• IOPC Statutory Guidance on complaints handling
• Police Conduct and Performance Regulations
• Code of Ethics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including external agencies (e.g., IOPC, HMICFRS).
• Highly organised, self‑motivated, and able to manage workloads independently while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to use initiative, develop processes, and work with minimal supervision.
