Role Overview
This remote position combines vaccine supply coordination, patient booking operations, and data analytics to ensure the smooth running of vaccination programmes. Working independently from home, you will report daily on progress while maintaining seamless operational support across three core areas:
Vaccine Supply Management: Oversee stock levels, process orders, monitor deliveries, and prevent wastage. Maintain cold chain compliance, manage stock rotation, coordinate redistribution across sites, and support demand forecasting.
Central Booking Agent: Manage high-volume inbound and outbound queries to schedule, amend, or cancel appointments (including for housebound patients). Deliver compassionate customer service, assist vulnerable patients, update NHS booking systems accurately, and elevate clinical queries.
Data Analytics & Reporting: Track and validate vaccination activity to build performance reports and dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI). Analyze vaccine uptake, clinic utilisation, DNA rates, and stock usage to pinpoint trends, optimise capacity planning, and meet compliance standards.
Key Requirement: High self-motivation and the ability to work proactively in a home-based environment, with regular reporting on daily tasks, wins, and roadblocks.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Vaccine Supply Management
Monitor vaccine stock levels across vaccination sites and ensure adequate supply is maintained.
Process vaccine orders in accordance with national guidance and local Standard Operating Procedures.
Monitor vaccine deliveries and investigate discrepancies with suppliers.
Maintain accurate stock records using electronic inventory systems.
Coordinate redistribution of vaccine stock to minimise wastage.
Monitor vaccine expiry dates and ensure stock rotation.
Ensure compliance with vaccine cold chain requirements and report breaches immediately.
Produce stock reports and support forecasting of vaccine demand during seasonal and outbreak vaccination programmes.
Liaise with pharmacy departments, logistics providers and vaccination sites regarding vaccine availability.
Central Booking Agent
Book, amend and cancel appointments using NHS booking systems and spreadsheets for housebound patients.
Respond to patient enquiries regarding eligibility, clinic locations and appointment availability.
Support vulnerable patients requiring additional assistance to access vaccination services.
Escalate clinical queries appropriately to registered healthcare professionals.
Ensure patient information is accurately recorded.
Manage high call volumes whilst maintaining excellent customer service.
Support outbound calling campaigns for vaccination recalls and follow‑up appointments.
Data Analytics and Reporting
Collect, validate and analyse vaccination activity data.
Produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
Develop dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Power BI or equivalent reporting tools.
Analyse vaccine uptake, appointment utilisation, DNA (Did Not Attend) rates, stock usage and vaccine wastage.
Identify trends, risks and opportunities for service improvement.
Support national and local reporting requirements.
Ensure high standards of data quality across all vaccination systems.
Provide statistical information to operational managers to support capacity planning
Ability to work independently and proactively in a home-based setting, demonstrating self‑motivation and regularly reporting on daily tasks, accomplishments, and any challenges encountered.
