Impactful Children’s Social Care Team Lawyer

Wigan Council is seeking a Team Lawyer in the People team – Children’s to handle all aspects of Children’s Social Care law, including pre-proceedings, care proceedings, safeguarding orders, and adoptions. You will advise and advocate for the Council at court and other hearings, drafting complex documents and negotiating with parties.

Applicants should be solicitors with current practising certificates (or Barristers/Legal Executives with rights).
