Account Director – Medical Communications. Independent MedComms agency seeking a Scientific Project Lead/Account Director to drive high-quality delivery across projects, manage complex work with minimal structure, and support growth across medical affairs and publications.

Salary £62k-£75k, plus industry-leading bonuses. 100% remote, or hybrid with offices in NW and Oxfordshire (Oxon).

What you’ll do

• Lead accounts and projects, ensuring quality delivery on time and on budget.
• Act as trusted client partner, offering strategic guidance across publications and medical affairs accounts.
• Manage resources, timelines, and finances.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities.
• This role is a newly created vacancy working on well-established and varied accounts across medical affairs and publications.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in the Healthcare Communications industry in an agency setting.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Based in the UK with no visa requirement.
