Have you ever wanted to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable Children and Young People? Our children’s service in Romiley, Stockport provides respite to Young People with Autism, Learning Difficulties and Complex needs. We give the young people that we support regular periods of respite as well as giving their parents and siblings a much‑needed break. As one of the UK’s best employers, we are looking for a dedicated, proactive and highly experienced children’s residential support worker.

Location: Romiley, Stockport Hours:37.5 hours

  • Full Time Salary: £30,912 (£15.85 per hour). Enhancements: Sleep‑in allowance of £107.60 per shift and one‑and‑a‑quarter hours paid for weekend work (equivalent to £19.82 per hour). The Together Trust is one of the North West’s leading charities, offering individual care, support, and education to hundreds of children, young people, and adults each year.

We are a not‑for‑profit charitable trust, so every penny goes back into benefiting the people that we support. We believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, whether that’s a place to call your own or somewhere to get safety, stability and support.

You’ll be helping children to grow their independence and shape their own story within a supportive, caring home. You will be working in a caring home environment with the wider team under the leadership of the Registered Manager, nurturing and supporting the young people by providing them with all the care, love, and support that they would receive as if it were their family home.

Safeguarding checks will be undertaken for the successful candidate in line with our safer recruitment policy, including an Enhanced DBS check (at no cost to yourself).
