With an excellent hourly rate of £31.97 and the opportunity for hybrid working, this role offers a fantastic work-life balance with usual working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, except for an early finish at 4:30 pm on Fridays.

What you will do:

  • Take responsibility for completing Community Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (CDoLS) applications and renewals.
  • Engage in legal work requiring excellent writing skills for court paperwork and related documentation.
  • Deliver comprehensive support in community settings, supported living, and specialist care homes, ensuring the care and protection of individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Apply your strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, Human Rights Act, and Care Act 2014 to manage a varied caseload effectively.
  • Conduct assessments related to Continuing Health Care and DST process, using your expertise to facilitate the best outcomes.
  • Manage safeguarding duties and act within the Court of Protection framework, focusing on Deprivation of Liberty in the community.
