Laboratory Services Coordinator

Overview

Our client is a global provider of scientific solutions, supporting world-leading organisations across research, technology, and innovation. They are currently looking for an experienced Laboratory Services Coordinator to join a cutting-edge Advanced Materials Innovation Laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operation of a highly specialised laboratory environment, supporting service delivery, managing consumables and inventory, and coordinating laboratory operations.
• Support health and safety compliance and ensure the laboratory operates to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a laboratory management, or facilities-based role
• Previous line management experience with strong organisational and leadership skills
• Experience managing laboratory operations, consumables, inventory systems, and service requirements
• Knowledge of laboratory health and safety requirements, including COSHH, DSEAR, chemical handling, and risk assessments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
