Job title: Handyperson Job title: Temporary (possibility of Temp to Perm) Location: Shefford Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am till 4pm Hourly rate: £13.45 per hour   Our ever-growing client based in Shefford are currently looking for a Handyperson to join their team on a long term Temporary basis, with a possibility of a Temp to Perm contract (not guaranteed). The core purpose of the role will be to support the Facilities Manager by performing a range of light repairs and maintenance duties that are assigned. Practical, hands on-tasks such as basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and fixture installations.   Main duties as a Handyperson:– Completing basic plumbing – replacing taps and cisterns, electrical repairs – sockets and light fittings, carpentry including repair or replace doors and able to carry out repairs to walls and paint to a good standard. – Overseeing the maintenance of other various equipment and appliances throughout both sites. – Assisting with remodelling of meeting spaces in preparation for meetings and events. – Conducting scheduled health and safety checks throughout both sites and completing compliance led tasks. – Managing the cleanliness of the site, waste and PPE.     What’s needed for this role: – Previous caretaker, maintenance or handyperson experience – Good communication skills – Ability to complete basic maintenance and repair tasks without supervision – Experience of using hand and power tools – A team player with a positive attitude, willing to learn and undertake additional duties – Strong work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude   Perks of working on a Temporary basis:– 24/7 support– Weekly pay– Rewards & Discounts– Tax relief scheme on Travel    Please apply within…
