HGV Driver

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established logistics business based in Stalybridge.

Our client operates a consistent trunking operation, offering depot-to-depot work with no manual handling involved.

What’s on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Working week of Monday to Friday
• Shifts starting 8am start, lasting 8 to 12 hours
• Night shift also available if you’d prefer that
• Paid at 17.93 per hour – inclusive of holiday pay

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing depot-to-depot trunking work
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately

To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
