About the role:

justteachers are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who can deliver high‑quality Maths teaching and make an immediate impact on pupil progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
• Use effective behaviour‑management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment
• Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and intervention where needed
• Contribute to departmental planning, meetings and whole‑school initiatives
• Support pupils of varying abilities, ensuring inclusive and accessible learning

Pre‑requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3/KS4 essential)
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
• Ability to start immediately and commit until the end of the academic year
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Two school based references
