We are inviting applications to join our Disease Team based in our Glasgow office. In this role, you will support individuals pursuing industrial and occupational disease claims arising from illnesses that have been caused or aggravated by their work, through no fault of their own.
What the role involves:
- Caseload Management: Work collaboratively with a team of like-minded professionals on a mix of pre-litigation and litigation cases.
- Court Work: Get hands-on experience with cases in ASPIC and the Court of Session.
- Team Support: Contribute to training and mentoring trainees.
- Investigations & Statements: Conduct liability investigations and gather witness statements.
- Medical Expert Coordination: Liaise with and instruct medical experts.
- Legal Documentation: Draft a range of legal documents, including writs.
- Court Appearances: Consult with Counsel and represent clients in court.

Who we’re looking for:
- You must be able to commute to our Glasgow office.
- A minimum of 3 years PQE is essential.
- Experience in disease cases would be advantageous, although we also welcome applications from candidates with a background in personal injury.
