About the role
Our organisation is committed to improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities across our communities. As part of this mission, we are looking for an enthusiastic Business Support Officerto workwithinthePublic Health Team, supporting members to takethese ambitions forward.
Public Health has four Teams. This post will be the named Business Support Officer for the Prevention and Inclusion team but will work across all the teams to support other Business Support colleagues and provide cover for holidays and sickness.
You willhave responsibility for a range of office functions which includes providing financial and management support for a range of activities both within the Council and with external partners.

About you
You will be:
- Educated to A level, NVQ3 or equivalent standard (e.g. GNVQ, Certificate in Management, BTech)(essential)
- IT Qualified to CLAIT/IBT2/RSA/ECDL(essential)
- NVQ Level 3 in Administration or Management(desirable)
- NVQ Assessor(desirable
- Have extensive experience in office administration including the use of IT systems along with knowledge of data protection and equal opportunities
- Able to work independently to prioritise workload and with minimal supervision
- Have good interpersonal skills – able to communicate in a friendly, open and constructive manner
