We are recruiting for the role of Business Services Team Leader in our team covering the East Midlands area. Your office base can be Stevenage, Peterborough or Chelmsford, with a willingness to travel across the whole East Midlands region when required.

Let us tell you a bit more about the role…

As a Business Services Services Team Leader, you will contribute to the effective and efficient management and progression of cases, providing administrative support to the local Family Court Advisers and Service Managers.

  • monitoring case progression
  • receiving referrals from the Court or Cafcass Intake Team
  • create / update / close cases within our case management system
  • sending letters and information packs to service users
  • identify any missing information and follow-up as required
  • receive and deal with telephone enquiries
  • meet and greet visitors, including service users
  • general admin support
  • Complete office-based health and safety checks including first aid and fire marshal duties (training will be provided) and support site maintenance and general good office housekeeping.

… And What We’re Looking For.

  • A relevant qualification in business administration (e.g. NVQ2), a willingness to work towards to a qualification and/or significant experience in a similar role
  • Confident and capable of using MS Office applications to a basic / intermediate level
  • Clear, confident communicator via email, phone and in person
  • Someone who thrives working in a team
  • Able to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment with strict deadlines
  • Able to lead people, collaborate positively and champion growth and innovation
