Healthcare Assistant – Ward

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for a bank position. The role is part‑time, may include weekend work and offers pay up to £13 per hour, depending on experience.

The work is ad‑hoc, with no fixed hours per week – you’ll cover shifts as required by the business and based on your availability.

As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward, you will:

• Put patient care first
• Carry out administrative duties
• Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in delivering exceptional patient care, pre and post surgery
• Get to know the people who are our patients
• Meet the needs of every individual
• Use organisational skills to make a positive impact and experience

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Previous experience in an acute hospital or care setting
• Good telephone manner, strong computer and database skills
