Protocol Education is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to work within a specialist school supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH, sensory processing differences and complex learning needs.

You’ll work closely with education staff to create practical strategies that enable pupils to access learning, improve independence and achieve their personal goals.

Role Information

  • Full-time
  • September start
  • Monday-Friday
  • Working hours between 8:30am and 4:30pm
  • Term-time only
  • Long-term role

Duties include

  • Conducting occupational therapy assessments
  • Delivering individual therapy programmes
  • Developing sensory support plans
  • Advising teaching staff on classroom adaptations
  • Supporting EHCP reviews
  • Working closely with families and external professionals

Ideal candidate

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist
  • HCPC Registered
  • Experience within paediatrics or SEND preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passionate about improving children’s independence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
