We have a variety of day shift start times available:
- 04:00
- 06:00
- 11:00
Monday to Friday working pattern – enjoy your weekends off!
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll be delivering insulation products to building merchants and, on occasion, construction sites across the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing Class 1 deliveries safely and efficiently
- Averaging two deliveries per shift
- Operating a curtain-sided trailer
- Opening and securing the trailer curtains to allow customers to unload using a forklift
- Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
- Completing and returning all delivery paperwork accurately
- Undertaking occasional backhaul collections
- Driving a modern Renault or Volvo fleet vehicle
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Following all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you’ll need:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- Good knowledge of the UK road network
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements)
- A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
