I’m currently partnering with a top-tier global law firm on a targeted search for a Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its market-leading Corporate Transactions & Advisory practice in Sydney.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded corporate lawyer looking to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions for multinational corporates, private equity sponsors, financial institutions and listed companies.
The role will involve:
• Advising on public and private M&A transactions, disposals and corporate restructurings
• Acting on private equity investments and exits
• Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, including share sale, shareholders’ and subscription agreements
• Leading legal due diligence processes and managing transaction workstreams
• Advising on corporate governance, directors’ duties and regulatory compliance
• Working closely with major corporate and private equity clients on strategic transactions
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers while developing client relationships
• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the practice
