Charity People is delighted to be partnering with London Youth to recruit for their next Trusts and Foundations Manager.

Supporting a network of over 600 youth organisations and reaching more than 616,000 young people across the capital, London Youth creates life-changing opportunities through youth work, outdoor learning and community programmes. They’re looking for a talented Trusts and Foundations Manager to help unlock the funding that makes this possible.

Role Details

  • Salary: £35,931
  • Location: London / Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
  • Contract: Permanent, Full Time
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working requests considered)

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of trust and foundation supporters, securing five and six-figure grants that make a genuine difference to young people’s lives.

You will:

  • Research and develop new funding opportunities
  • Write compelling funding applications and reports
  • Build and manage relationships with trusts, foundations and institutional funders
  • Deliver excellent stewardship to existing supporters
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across London Youth to achieve ambitious fundraising targets

About You

We’re looking for someone who can combine excellent fundraising skills with a passion for social impact.

You’ll bring:

  • A strong track record of securing trust and foundation income
  • Experience developing successful funding applications
  • Excellent written communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong research and prospecting abilities
  • The confidence to manage a busy funding pipeline and work towards ambitious targets
  • A genuine commitment to improving the lives of young people
