Credit Controller / Accounts Receivable Assistant
Location: Peterborough – Full time on site
Contract: 6-9 Months (Potential Extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Onsite
Hourly Rate: £16.72 PAYE
We are seeking a Credit Controller / Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a busy finance team in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to support day-to-day credit control activities while contributing to key business projects and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and outstanding debt.
- Chase overdue payments and resolve account queries.
- Support accounts receivable processes and reporting.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Assist with ongoing finance and systems projects.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Good computer literacy and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Knowledge of credit insurance.
- Power BI experience.
- AAT qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience with the Institute of Credit Management or Institute of Export.
