What you will do
- Provide Occupational Therapy input for intermediate care beds in collaboration with a physiotherapist and care home staff.
- Promote independence, rehabilitation, and facilitate safe and effective discharge to home environments.
- Conduct manual handling assessments and prescribe necessary manual handling equipment.
- Work independently while having access to support from the community therapy service, ensuring a balanced approach to care.
- As an occupational therapist, you’ll need to have a current HCPC registration and possess a valid driving license as car travel is essential.
