LGV Driver – Class 1/Cat C+E

Hourly rate £19.06 – £24.59, plus benefits: £2.89/hr weekend shift allowance, £1.54/hr unsocial shift allowance (7pm–3am), £1.10/hr Thurrock location allowance. Part‑time (8–32 hours per week, including some weekend work), permanent.

Location: West Thurrock CDC, Oliver Road, West Thurrock, RM20 3ED.

What you’ll do

• Deliver stock from the DC to stores in the region safely, professionally and cost‑effectively.
• Drive safely, obey road rules and follow Co‑op procedures.
• Represent Co‑op positively on the road at all times.
• Treat other road users and pedestrians with respect.
• Provide efficient delivery service, including off‑loading stock into stores.
• Make every effort to deliver stock safely under all weather conditions.

What you’ll bring

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) LGV driver’s licence.
• Experience as a driver, preferably multi‑drop delivery.
• Good service skills and ability to represent Co‑op positively on the road.
• Positive collaboration with Co‑op customers and colleagues.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
