About the role
As a department supervisor, you will support the team by taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the department. You’ll help lead, develop, and motivate your team, while ensuring the seasonal department runs smoothly and to a high standard. You’ll think ahead to prep and plan for the next season, while making sure customer service and sales standards are high.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting in leading and developing the team to deliver excellent service and great results
- Seasonal planning and merchandising
- Delivering sales targets and meeting KPI’s
- Supporting the wider team day-to-day
- Providing advice to customers and setting high service standards
- Maintaining standards through creative and attractive merchandising, stock presentation, and promotional execution
The ideal candidate
- Supervisory experience in a similar retail environment
- Hands-on and a proactive attitude
- A passion for customer service
- Product knowledge of seasonal products, including Christmas and outdoor furniture is desired
