We are currently seeking a skilled vehicle technician to join our team In Basingstoke
Imi/nvq city and guilds or time served experienced light vehicle certification is required, As is a full uk driving licence and your own tools
 You must live within 10 miles of Basingstoke
This is a Monday – Friday role 8am – 6pm
1 hour lunch break
or
Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm and every other Saturday 8.30 – 5.30pm. 1 hour lunch breakSalary is experience dependent but for the experience we require the salary will be between £40,000 – £45,000 plus bonus. For this salary range we are looking for a technician that is experienced in every aspect of being a Vehicle technician
Overtime is available on Saturdays at additional pay but is not mandatory
As a vehicle technician you will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring that they meet the required safety and environmental standards. This is a vital role in ensuring the safety of vehicles on the road.
Responsibilities:– Inspect vehicles for any defects or issues that may affect their roadworthiness– Identify and report any faults or potential problems to customers– Carry out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to all makes and models.
Experience:– Previous experience as a vehicle technician is essential– Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems– Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for inspections and repairs– Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or defects– Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively
