Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside project/programme managers and customers to ensure that work is delivered on time, within cost, quality and safety requirements.
  • Analyse and troubleshoot equipment operability, technical queries and performance issues.
  • Mentor junior staff under the guidance of the Capability Manager and Senior Technical Lead.
  • Develop and validate technical methods and produce concise, accurate technical reports.
  • Develop relationships with M&A customers, and support UKAS accreditation for analytical techniques.

Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc Chemistry.
  • Experience in analytical chemistry, mass spectrometry, radiochemistry, separation chemistry.
  • Excellent communication skills, pragmatic and pro‑active approach.
  • Evidence of maintaining exemplary safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to obtain SC‑level security clearance. British citizenship required.

Desirable Criteria

  • PhD.
  • Experience with technical working groups, workshops, technical papers, and conferences.
