What You’ll be doing
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND to achieve the best possible outcomes?Luton Council is looking for an organised and compassionate EHCP Co-Ordinator to join our Special Educational Needs Assessment Service.
In this role, you’ll manage a caseload of Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs) and EHCPs, coordinating assessments, reviews and phase transfers while working closely with families, schools and professionals across education, health and care.You’ll ensure plans are delivered within statutory timescales and accurately reflect the needs of each young person.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with experience of SEND statutory assessment processes, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Knowledge of SEND legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014, is highly desirable.

Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
