Class 2 Roll On Roll Off Driver – Crewe | Temp to Perm

Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 07:00 – 17:00

Pay Rate: £16.73 per hour

The Role

As a Class 2 RoRo Driver, you will collect recyclable materials from customer sites and transport them to the main processing facility in Crewe. Routes are planned with a maximum of 10 drops per day, supporting a manageable workload and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out collections from recycling sites across the region.
• Safely operate Class 2 Roll On Roll Off vehicles.
• Complete vehicle checks and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver excellent customer service at collection sites.
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Health & Safety regulations.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and efficiently back to the main site in Crewe.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Roll On Roll Off experience is desirable.
• A minimum of 6 months’ Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.
• Good geographical knowledge and a professional approach.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and customer focused.
