We are looking to appoint a dedicated and proactive Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our passionate and supportive team at The Grange School, working 37 hours per week. This permanent, term‑time role is vital to maintaining our school’s calm, purposeful and respectful learning environment. You won’t be working in isolation; you’ll be part of a committed team that shares a belief in the power of positive relationships, high expectations and restorative practice to support student growth.

Reporting to the Behaviour Intervention and Inclusion Manager, you will play a role in supporting the Learn and Behave room, working closely with staff and students to promote inclusivity, personal development and a strong sense of belonging. Responsibilities
- Support the day‑to‑day running of the Learn and Behave room, ensuring it is a focused and effective learning space
- Assist with the ‘on‑call’ and centralised detention systems, including supervision and communication
- Monitor and respond to student behaviour incidents, including truancy and safeguarding concerns
- Track and analyse behaviour data to inform strategic decisions and reduce suspensions
- Promote consistent behaviour management practices across the school
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies

Who we are looking for
- Have a minimum of 5 A*-C GCSE qualifications (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Have the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
