About the role and school
We are seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Brent from September. This Year 1 Teacher role offers the opportunity to join a supportive KS1 team with a strong focus on delivering high-quality teaching, developing early literacy and numeracy skills, and helping pupils build confidence as they progress through Key Stage 1.
The successful Year 1 Teacher will become part of a collaborative staff team where creativity, pupil wellbeing and professional development are highly valued. Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons as a Year 1 Teacher
- Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum

Qualifications / Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 is desirable
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
