The Battery Systems Group at the University of Warwick invites applications for a PhD funded by BP to develop a validated methodology for assessing lithium-ion cell failure and its implications for system-level design.
You will work within the Battery Systems Research team, focusing on thermal runaway initiation, scale-up to full systems, multi-modal measurement, and modelling approaches, with a stipend under UKRI guidelines.
