Property Litigation Associate (2 yrs+ PQE)
Location: Guildford with hybrid working (up to 3 days remote)
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000
The Opportunity
We are exclusively instructed on behalf of a leading law firm in Surrey which has a stellar reputation in the region and in the City. This top tier law firm seeking to appoint an experienced Property Litigation Associate (2+ years PQE) to join its established and highly regarded Real Estate Disputes team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality property litigation matters, advising a diverse client base including commercial landlords and tenants, developers, investors, property management companies, and private clients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex matters, supporting business development initiatives, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
– Managing a varied caseload of property litigation matters with appropriate autonomy
– Advising on a wide range of disputes including:
o Commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes
o Possession proceedings and forfeiture matters
o Dilapidations claims
o Easements, rights of way, and boundary disputes
o Lease renewals and termination matters
o Trespass, nuisance, and restrictive covenant issues
– Delivering commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice
– Supporting senior colleagues on complex and high-value disputes
– Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
– Contributing to business development, networking, and profile-raising activities
– Supervising junior team members where appropriate
