Vehicle Builders Wanted – Northampton (all good mechanical knowledge considered)
I’m currently recruiting for Vehicle Builders to join a long-term rolling stock project based at in Northampton.
Location: NorthamptonHours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (50 hours paid per week)Pay: 18.68 per hour PAYE/ 25.11ph UmbrellaContract: 12 months rolling
Key duties include:
Stripping and preparing vehicles for refurbishmentCutting and fitting materials to precise measurementsMechanically fitting Seats, hand rails, luggage racks and more. Installing flooring, carpets, panels and interior componentsWorking with wood, metal, composites, sealants and adhesivesRemoving and refitting windows
We’re looking for candidates with experience as:Coach BuilderVehicle BuilderCarpenterShop FitterMechanical assemblyVehicle technicians Any mechanical assembly/fitting Or similar hands-on assembly/interior fitting roles
An NVQ/IMI/HNC Level 2 (or above) in a relevant trade would be an advantage.
Assessment Day: Wednesday 22nd July (Am and Pm slots available)Potential Start date: 27th of July/Beginning of August
