A Tier 1 Specialist Consultancy is expanding its operations and seeking a dependable Legionella Risk Assessor to cover the Central/ Eastern UK region. This is a pivotal role within a growing team, offering the chance to manage high-compliance environments for major commercial and MOD-security cleared sites. The Opportunity: You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of complex water systems. Your day-to-day remit involves a blend of technical auditing and field-based risk management:

  • Conducting comprehensive Legionella Risk Assessments across diverse water systems.
  • Performing detailed audits of management regimes and Written Schemes of Control.
  • Executing internal quality checks to ensure rigorous technical standards are maintained.
  • Delivering general water hygiene tasks including sampling, temperature monitoring, and flushing.

Technical Essentials To be successful, you must demonstrate high-level technical proficiency and a commitment to regulatory excellence:

  • Mandatory: City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment.
  • Compliance Expert: Deep working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS:8580.
  • System Knowledge: Experience with complex systems, including water softeners, industrial processes, and vehicle washes.
  • Reporting: Strong IT literacy (Word/Excel) with the ability to produce high-quality technical reports.
  • Vetting: Ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance.
  • Mobility: Full UK Driving License (Regional travel required).
