Salary: 37,457 – 42,000 depending on experience |37,457 – 42,000 yn dibynnu ar brofiad

Maternity cover for 12 months

The Role

Reporting directly to the Innovation and New Product Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new opportunities for developing a new marketable product from concept to distribution. As the New Product Development Lead you will have a hybrid role between project management and product management you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop tangible products and services that contribute to Transport for Wales’ growth and success.

Role responsibilities

  • Product Development: Identifying new opportunities for developing new marketable product’s from concept to distribution.
  • Product Improvement: Improving existing product’s to meet customers’ needs better and invigorate a current market.
  • Industry Research: Analysing industry trends and benchmarking direct and indirect competitors.
  • Market and User Research: Conducting and using customer and market research to identify needs and preferences.

Who we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in Product development or a related role.
  • Robust understanding of market dynamics, trends, and business strategy.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully managing new product projects.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
