Senior Site Technician

Grade 4, SCP 6-7 £25,989 – £26,403 per annum

37 hours per week

Permanent Role – Full Year

We are looking for a dependable and hands‑on Senior Site Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and secure school environment. This is an active, hands‑on role, working both inside and outdoors, that requires a practical approach and the ability to carry out a variety of physical tasks throughout the day.

Key Duties

  • Open the school each day and ensure the site is safe and secure for staff and pupils
  • Receive and distribute deliveries, and escort contractors while they are on site
  • Carry out furniture moves and room set‑ups, including preparing exam venues
  • Complete health and safety and compliance checks across the school site
  • Respond to day‑to‑day site queries and ad hoc requests from staff
  • Carry out minor maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the school remains safe and operational

  • Practical, reliable, and self‑motivated
  • Has a can‑do attitude and takes a hands‑on approach to tasks; health and safety aware (training can be provided)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
