DETAILS

Location: BPM SFX Oak Mill HQ (with travel)

Contract: Full time, permanent

Salary: Dependent on experience

THE ROLE

As a Project Manager, you will act as the key link between our clients, designers, operational teams, suppliers, and technicians. You’ll take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring every element is delivered safely, efficiently, on budget, and to the highest possible standard meeting the demands of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to work on world-class live events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage live event and touring projects from initial enquiry through to completion

Liaise directly with clients, production and tour managers, technical directors, promoters, venues, and suppliers

Produce project schedules, budgets, quotations, equipment allocations and crew plans

Coordinate logistics for equipment, freight, crew travel and accommodation

Interpret technical drawings, CAD plans, venue specifications and rigging information

Work closely with internal departments to ensure equipment and personnel are allocated effectively

Attend production meetings, site visits, rehearsals and live events as required

Ensure all projects comply with relevant health & safety legislation and industry best practice

Monitor project profitability and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth

Build long-term relationships with clients and contribute to business development opportunities

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Minimum 3 years experience in project management within live events, touring, production or entertainment

• Strong understanding of live event production workflows and working with production personnel

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Strong budgeting and commercial awareness

• Full UK Driving Licence

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Experience with special effects, pyrotechnics, lasers, staging, lighting, audio or rigging

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management systems

• Touring and festival experience

• Knowledge of logistics and freight operations

• Experience managing freelance crews and subcontractors
