We’re looking for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team and support our service user in Truro, Cornwall (TR1). Role Responsibilities
- Support your service user with their physical care needs, including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort.
- Deliver person‑centered care according to bespoke care plans.
- Promote independence and respect each service users spiritual, psychological, and cultural needs.
- Maintain accurate care records.
- Assist with communication between patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Administer prescribed medication or clinical tasks after completing our advanced training and competency sign off.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Regional Nurse Manager.
- Contribute to a supportive, high‑standard care environment.
Clinical Skills
Please note that while experience in these areas is desirable, we will provide service user specific training.
- Tracheostomy Care (including tracheal and oral suctioning and tube change)
- Tracheostomy Invasive Ventilation (TIV)
- Enteral Tube Feeding (including tube change)
- Medication Administration
- Specialised Administration of Medication (Oxygen Therapy)
- Observation and Vital Signs
- Moving & Handling
- Challenging Behaviour
Personal Attributes
- Reliable and committed.
- Experience in autism and learning disability.
- Dedicated and flexible.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
- Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.
- Passionate, dedicated, and empathetic.
- A driving licence is essential for this role.
- Proof of your right to live and work in the UK.

Working Pattern
- Bank Contract (0 hours)
- Day Shift – 8am to 8pm
- Night Shift – 8pm to 8am
