Lead the Operation. Inspire the Team. Create Exceptional Guest Experiences.

Hotels are about people. Guests remember how they felt, teams thrive when they feel valued, and great operations happen when leaders create an environment where everyone can perform at their best.

We’re looking for a Hotel Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of a busy, high-volume hotel. This is an opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader who enjoys building strong teams, driving commercial performance, and ensuring every guest experience is delivered with consistency, care, and excellence.

You’ll be the heartbeat of the hotel operation, bringing together departments, developing talent, solving challenges, and creating an environment where both guests and colleagues can succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the day-to-day operation of the hotel to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Supporting, coaching and developing departmental leaders and their teams.
  • Driving operational standards across all guest-facing areas.
  • Managing service delivery, guest feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with commercial teams to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Ensuring labour, payroll and operational costs are effectively controlled.
  • Creating a positive and engaging culture where colleagues can perform at their best.
  • Acting as a visible and approachable leader for guests and team members alike.
  • Supporting the General Manager in delivering business goals and operational excellence.

What You Will Bring

We’re looking for a leader who combines commercial awareness with a genuine passion for people.

You’ll have:

  • Previous experience in a Hotel Operations Manager, Deputy General Manager, Hotel Manager or senior operational leadership role.
  • A strong Front Office background, with a detailed understanding of the guest journey and service delivery.
  • Experience working within a high-volume hotel environment, managing multiple departments and balancing competing priorities.
  • A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop diverse hospitality teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, labour costs and operational performance.
  • Confidence in making decisions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional guest standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A hands-on leadership style, leading by example and supporting teams when it matters most.
