We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and confident person to join our friendly Inclusion/Wellbeing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and flexible individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional learning needs and contributing to a fully inclusive school environment. This position would ideally suit someone who has strong organisational and administrative skills and an excellent understanding of supporting children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the SENCO in managing the implementation of an inclusive curriculum.
- Support children with special educational needs in intervention groups as allocated by the SENCO.
- Manage appropriate SEND resources and ensure they are used efficiently, effectively and safely.
- Develop curriculum resources to ensure that children with SEND have the necessary levels of support.
- Provide support and general admin and clerical duties including preparing documents for Annual Reviews and EHC Needs Assessment requests, minute taking, photocopying, filing, emailing and completing routine forms.
