We are currently seeking experienced Tunnel Miners to join a major tunnelling project based near North Acton Station, London NW10. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a busy site with competitive rates and accommodation support available.
Shift Pattern & Rate
- 7 DAYS-3 off-7 nights-4 off rotation
- 12-hour shifts
- 406.07 per shift (PAYE)
- Lodge available for operatives living more than 50 miles from site
The Role
- Carry out and oversee tunnelling operations in accordance with site requirements.
- Work closely with site management and tunnelling teams to maintain programme targets.
- Ensure all activities are undertaken safely and in line with company procedures.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Tunnelling Operations (Blue Card)
- Proven experience in a Tunnel Miner position
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work and tunnelling operations
- Ability to lead crews and work effectively in a demanding environment
