Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team covering London and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst looking to join a respected consultancy offering a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial and mixed-use environments. With structured workloads, realistic scheduling, and strong operational support, this role offers long-term stability within a well-organised and supportive business.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will carry out both surveying and analytical duties across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties throughout London and the surrounding areas.

Working independently and as part of an experienced team, you will deliver high-quality asbestos services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Delivering Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264* Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing, and reassurance sampling in line with HSG248* Working across commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties* Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports* Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams* Managing your own workload effectively across multiple client sites* Ensuring all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

* BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)* Experience working in a dual Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst role* Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements* Ability to manage your workload independently* Full UK driving licence* Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills* Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
