Science Technician

Science Technician Location: Greenwich Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September 2026

We are looking for a reliable and organised Science Technician to join a secondary school in Greenwich on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment and materials for practical science lessons.
• Set up and clear away laboratory experiments.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and stock levels.
• Ensure laboratories are clean, organised, and safe.
• Prepare and safely store chemicals in line with health and safety regulations.
• Support teachers during practical lessons where required.
• Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a laboratory setting is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of laboratory health and safety procedures.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
