Job Title: Stock Control and Logistics Co-ordinatorDepartment: Warehouse OperationsReports to: Warehouse ManagerLocation: Trafford Park, Manchester.

Our client is a leading independent Freight Forwarder now looking for a Stock Control and Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team in Manchester

Key Responsibilities* Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, utilise WMS for picking and inventory. * Order Management: Process purchase orders, manage customer details, and track shipments and deliveries. * Logistics Coordination: Plan and schedule transportation of goods, manage shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations. * Supplier Relations: Liaise with suppliers and negotiate beneficial deals for transport and services.* Client Relations: Liaise with Clients and build strong relationships.Key Skills and Qualifications* Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Access Delta / Clarus), data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. * Soft Skills:* Organisation: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. * Communication: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal teams and external vendors. * Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse situations, resolve discrepancies, and suggest process improvements. * Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for accurate record-keeping and inventory management. * Experience & Education:* Proven work experience in stock management, supply chain, or logistics. * Familiarity with supply chain best practices.
