Machine Operator

We are seeking for a skilled and detail-orientedMachine Operatorto join our client inErith. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical knowledge, and experience with various tools and machinery. This role involves operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, ensuring quality standards, and supporting production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor various manufacturing machines
• Set up machines using drawings and tooling specifications
• Programme and troubleshoot
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on machinery to ensure smooth operation
• Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving components within the workspace
• Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment at all times
• Working in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work either morning or afternoon shifts as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during setup and operation
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials logistics is advantageous
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met

Shift

Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm (flexible to switch to 2pm – 10pm once trained and if needed)

Pay

14.50 whilst in training.15.08 when fully trained
