Magnet Recruit is supporting a long time client with a key and strategic hire into their busy technical department.
You will play a vital role in a key leadership position, responible for driving food safety, quality, compliance and technical excellence across a large scale, fast paced food manufacturing environment.
This role will suit an established Technical Manager or even a Head of Technical that is keen on being site-based.
Responsibilities
– Lead and develop the Technical, Quality & Hygiene functions– Own the sites food safety & QMS– Act as the primary technical contact for all major retail and foodservice audits– Ensure BRCGS compliance, HAACP & all relevant legislation
About you?
– Proven experience in a Technical Manager or Head of Technical position within a similar food manufacturing environment– Strong knowledge of Food safety standards– Demonstrated understanding of HAACP, TACCP and more– Experience managing retailer standards and prven experience leading customer audits & 3rd party audits– Lead Auditor qualification would be advantageous
