Since 2007, the organization has grown into a nationwide provider of integrated children’s services, guided by a trauma-informed and outcome-focused approach that places young people’s needs at the center. Horizon operates across three divisions—Specialist Education, Children’s Residential Care, and Supported Accommodation—to provide a joined-up pathway from childhood to independent living. Therapeutic practice is embedded across all services, enabling tailored, compassionate support for young people who may have experienced trauma, disruptions in care, or barriers to education, including those with SEND and SEMH needs. With dedicated care, support, and specialist education, Horizon helps young people feel safe, build strong networks, enjoy positive childhood experiences, and develop the skills and resilience needed for adulthood.
