Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (Emergency & Crisis Placements)
Location: Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire Salary: Up to 51,870 + On-Call Allowance Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
We're recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new Ofsted-regulated children's residential home providing emergency and crisis placements for children and young people with complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to establish a new service, recruit your own team and create a safe, therapeutic environment supporting children affected by trauma, EBD, CCE, CSE, emotional dysregulation, mental health needs and safeguarding risks.
The Role
- Register and manage the home with Ofsted.
- Lead, motivate and develop the care team.
- Ensure excellent safeguarding, compliance and quality standards.
- Deliver trauma-informed, child-centred care.
- Work closely with Local Authorities and partner agencies.
Requirements
- Registered Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready to register.
- Minimum 2 years' management/supervisory experience in a children's residential home.
- Experience supporting children with complex trauma, EBD, CCE/CSE and safeguarding concerns.
- Good knowledge of Ofsted Regulations and Children's Homes Quality Standards.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
