x3 Social Work Assistants

We are currently recruiting 3 Social Work Assistants to join the Family & Childcare Team based at Tyrone &

Fermanagh Hospital. This team provides vital support to children, young people, and their families, helping to

promote positive outcomes and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working alongside Social Workers to support children, young people, and their families.
• Assisting with assessments and the implementation of Child Care Plans
• Maintaining accurate documentation and case records.
• Providing practical support to families to encourage positive change and improve outcomes.

This role is for a Minimum of 3 months with the potential for extension. Hours of work are Monday to Friday,

9:00am 5:00pm with a pay rate of £14.06 per hour.

Essential Criteria:

• At least 1 year’s experience working with children, young people, or families in a relevant setting, such as childcare, youth work, or as a care assistant.
• A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a health, social care, or other care-related subject

What We Need From You:

• Level 3 Qualification in Care related subject
• Previous experience working with children and Families
• To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
• Willing to Undergo an Access NI check
