Based in our inspiring Sports Training Village, TeamBath Tennis provide activities, services and facility provision to students, university staff, the local community and to high performance athletes.

About the role

You will work alongside the Regional Player Development Centre (RPDC) Head Coach to plan, deliver and oversee the coaching programme for players within the RPDC. There will also be cross-over with the Head of the 18U academy and the Head of the 10U program, to work with players in those age groups.

Responsibilities include developing the competitive, technical, physical and psychological aspects of each player’s game and working towards their long-term tennis development and educational goals. The long term aim is to produce and develop players to compete internationally at the junior, university and senior stages. 

About you

You will manage and develop excellent relations with the LTA and a range of other stakeholders. There is also a responsibility to interact and enhance all areas of the TeamBath tennis program.

As a Level 3 performance coach, you will have experience and credibility in performance tennis, as well as someone who:

  • brings passion, care and dedication to developing both individuals and tennis players.
  • is capable of being organised with off court responsibilities such as goal setting and tournament planning.
  • can be flexible in working hours and travel to tournaments when required.

Further information

This is a full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week, however, you will be required to travel certain weeks and work weekends throughout the year at domestic and international tournaments.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
