This is an exciting opportunity to join the Short Notice Team, New Craigs Hospital as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or a Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD). The post holder will work within the Short Notice Team and be deployed on a daily basis to support all wards within the Hospital.
You should have an interest of working in an inpatient Mental Health / Learning Disabilities Setting, together with a knowledge of current issues within Mental Health / Learning Disabilities Services. Applicants must hold a Degree or Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or Learning Disabilities Nursing and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in either the Mental Health or Learning Disabilities field of practice.
This post involves being deployed on a daily basis and working across the site. It is therefore essential that the post holder is flexible and adaptable. In addition, a positive attitude, good team working abilities and excellent communication skills are essential.
