Lunchtime Supervisor (Ref: SBMAT409)

St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust are seeking a lunchtime supervisor to join our welcoming and caring team. The role is permanent, term‑time only, and covers 6 hours and 15 minutes per week (1 hour and 15 minutes daily, 12:00–13:15). Salary is £24,796 – £25,185 (FTE); actual wages are £3,603 – £3,659.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children before, during, and after eating lunch.
• Assist children with cutlery and table manners.
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain a respectful environment.
• Clean and sanitise children’s eating areas.
• Organise and lead games, activities, and administer first aid following successful training.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to communicate well with children and adults.
• Adherence to school conditions of employment and active safeguarding practices.
• Enhance DBS, Prohibition List, Barred List, Childcare Disqualification (where applicable), medical fitness, identity and right to work checks.
• Provision of two suitable professional references.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults.

Little Bloxwich CE Primary School, Grenfell Road, Walsall, WS3 3DL. Applicants must be ready to start in September 2026.
